Third Party Recruiter Policy

The mission of the The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences Career Development Office is to link Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences students who seek pre- and post-graduate career opportunities with employers who wish to hire them. The office does not provide resumes, access to student registration information, and access to our web job listing service to third parties; nor are third parties permitted to schedule interviews on campus.

Assistance Provided to Third Parties

Third parties (see definitions, below) which do not charge a fee to the candidate may fax or e-mail job opening information if accompanied by information describing the organization and its fee structure. This information will be posted online and made available to students who may be interested in pursuing such opportunities.

Temporary Agencies

Temporary agencies which contract with employers to provide individuals qualified to perform specific tasks or complete specific projects for a client organization are considered to be employers, not third-party recruiters. These individuals perform work at the client organization, but are employed and paid by the agency. Temporary agencies will be expected to abide by the professional conduct principles set forth by NACE for employer professionals.

Account Review Process

  • All account registrations are reviewed by our staff. Registrations must include all required information, as indicated during the application process. CLDC staff will follow up once the registration as been reviewed and a decision has been made.
  • Please allow two three business days for this process.
